Prevention Trainings

Preventing child abuse starts with education. We offer FREE prevention trainings designed to give adults the knowledge and confidence to protect children and create safe environments.

Rock the Talk (Parent Training)

Rock the Talk® is a prevention training developed by the Mama Bear Effect that helps parents and caregivers learn how to have age-appropriate conversations with their children about body safety, boundaries, and personal protection. Participants learn practical ways to reduce risk, recognize warning signs, and create open communication so children feel safe speaking up.

This training is designed specifically for parents and caregivers who want tools and guidance for talking with their children about safety in a comfortable and effective way.

Courage to Care (Youth-Serving Organization)

Courage to Care is a practical and empowering prevention training for adults who work with or serve youth. This training teaches participants how to recognize warning signs, establish safe environments, promote healthy relationships, and respond appropriately to concerns about abuse.

This training is ideal for businesses, organizations, churches, volunteers, and professionals who serve children and want to strengthen their child safety practices.
